Cats are supposed to be lazy.

When I first moved to the castle about a year ago, I weighed 14.5 pounds. Now, after having my diet sadistically monitored on the Slim Pet Challenge, I weigh 14.2 pounds. I suspect I could lose more if I was more active, but cats are supposed to be lazy, right? I can't help it if I'm genetically predisposed to have laying in bed be my favorite activity.

  1. What a lucky cat you are to get to sleep on the bed. My minions won't even let me in their room and I have to sleep in a 98 year old rocking chair outside their bedroom and wait to hear the alarm clock go off and then go sit by their door. But I think they really do love me, but the man minion thinks I will get cat hair in his bed. Mai

  4. Lucky... yes. Irritating... also yes. As a taller gentlemen who shares this bed with the cat and the wife, space to stretch out and be comfortable is decreasing. I do hope that this "Slim Pet Challenge" continues to work, solely because it could mean a smaller cat to take up valuable bed space.

And I won't even go into my fears that in the middle of the night I could wake up to find the cat resting her 14.2 pounds on my chest trying to suffocate me. Again.

  5. I'm not trying to suffocate you, Minion Brian. If I was trying, I would succeed. Your chesst is just very comfortable. And you are very accommodating.
